Stephen Parker

Stephen has worked with many performers throughout the length and breadth of Norway and Sweden.  At present he runs private practices in Bergen and Oslo, and works on a regular basis with members of the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, The Royal Norwegian Opera, the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and the Gothenburg Opera, as well as with students and teachers from the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo, where he holds a teaching position.

He has previously worked with the Norwegian Contemporary Dance Company (Carte Blanche) for over ten years, and has held numerous seminars for schools and organizations in Norway and Sweden.

 

Stephen emphasizes the direct application of the Alexander Technique regardless of what one may be engaged in, whether this be playing an instrument, singing, using a computer, meditating, working out, etc.
